Here’s a new website for Allie’s Figure & Day Spa. A gym and spa primarily for women, the entire place is in soft, soothing pinks. I designed the site to reflect that. The site includes lots of info on different services, an interactive map, plus a place for clients to submit their own testimonials about the business.
At Material Girl, we had just came up with our fall campaign, and we were throwing our annual Pink Party to benefit Susan. G. Komen for the Cure. I designed this website for people to go to to get more info on the party, the new fall lines and a new contest.
Here’s a website I just put together for brothers Joe & David Stark for their new band, Baby Bee. They wanted a vintage rock feel, so making the logo look like an old sticker and putting the images in Polaroids helped achieve this. The black alligator background is just the South Louisiana icing on the cake.
In March, Material Girl decided to expand its business into the world wide web. After sketching many layouts until I decided which would suit us best, then many, many late nights hovering over my Powerbook (complete with a few perfectionist-fueled tears), I finally finished it. It was a definite challenge, which makes it my favorite project yet. The website launched the beginning of May, and I am constantly still updating it. ILoveMaterialGirl.com
The website is my original design. Thank you, Jory Cordy, for photography.
