Prepare Your Content

Using the guidelines provided in your website starter kit, you’ll prepare your branding, words and imagery to fit within the page layouts and style of your chosen base design.

One Week to Build & Launch

We will begin with an email chat/call to get the details and answer any questions. You choose a base design that you like best.
You'll then receive the contract, invoice, and a website starter kit (an image checklist, copy template, branding questionnaire - you name it, I’ve got it covered). 

Yes! It takes just 5 days!
Monday: I’ll spend the day behind the scenes creating the foundations of your website.
Tuesday: We’ll have our kickoff call and then I’ll get to work building the pages on your website. 
Wednesday afternoon: The site will be sent across to you for review. 
Thursday morning: is your review session. I’ll be online and available to make any edits as you send them through. And then in the afternoon I’ll package up your website and hand it over to you.
Friday: You can launch when you’re ready!

Professional Photos

You’ll need a good collection of high-quality, on-brand images shot and edited by a professional photographer. Your branding colors and the colors in your photographs should complement each other, so that when we combine these elements together onto your website, they enhance each other and your brand story. If you would like stock photos, I can purchase those at an additional fee.

Words that Work

You have the option to customize the colors and fonts on your chosen design to reflect your unique business branding. You’ll need to provide a branding guide that outlines your colour palette and typography (or you can add on a branding package to your project).

I’ll give you a content planner that guides you through each page on your website and helps you to know what to write about, where. Each page has word limits and guidelines to follow to protect the integrity of the design, keep it looking aesthetically pleasing and ensure that your words are concise and captivating for your website visitors.

Yes, we can always add more pages or additional features than what the base designs include, for an additional cost. Please mention that when booking so we may send accurate pricing. Please note that additional pages or features may cause the project to take additional time.

All my designs require the Business Squarespace plan (see pricing for Squarespace here). 
You’ll also need to purchase your domain name (website URL) and possibly an email account. If you choose to host your domain and email account with Squarespace, you may be able to get the first year of domain and email hosting for free. 
And if none of this makes sense, don’t worry, book a chat with me and we can talk through your specific requirements and I can guide you from there.

Yes! One of the reasons I choose to use Squarespace for these websites is because I can build them to be extremely user-friendly from the backend. I include a one-hour training session with every package, where I walk you through how to change any text or images you'd like. 

Of course! Once you fill out the worksheet and send over your images, I carefully use that to create your site. When your site is handed over to you, it will be fully installed, with the key pages populated with your content and styled with your branding – ready for you to launch!
